Today was a nice day, despite a few raindrops. I went to the sea with my boyfriend and some of his relatives, somewhere outside Lysekil I think it was… We fished for crabs, had lunch on the pier, took a short walk and sat reading in the sunshine!

Me and my boyfriend went to the sunny Gothenburg today. Such beautiful weather! We went shopping, took a walk in the city, and finished the day off with luxurious chocolate and giant raspberries by the canal.
There was a Närcon this year as well, even though it was much smaller than last year. And unfortunately not so well-organized. But the arrangers should still get some credit, as they started planning very late this year (there wasn’t meant to be a Närcon this year at all). The best thing was the gaming areas, karaoke contest and the party grill. The worst was the cosplay…
Today I went to the Hova Medieval Week together with my boyfriend. The weather was beautiful – almost a little too beautiful! It was nice as we walked around the marketplace, had lunch in the barn and watched the jesters, but then it got a little too hot as we sat on the grandstand at the tournament… But it was bearable, because the tournament was as great as usual.
I’m back at home again after a two week long road trip in northern Sweden together with my boyfriend, my sister and her fiancé. We stayed at my grandma and grandpa’s, went on some short outings for the day, and also a longer outing over a weekend. Among the things we experienced were: the Dead Falls in Ragunda, the Thai pavilion in Utanede, a trip to Åsele were I grew up, and a quick visit at the border to Norway.
I won tickets for the Twilight Fan Event in Stockholm, so I was there yesterday. What an experience! The bands that played during the evening were in the range of okay to good. It was fun that they played both own songs and covers from the movie soundtracks.
I had a standing ticket. But I only stood in line for a few hours, from 1 pm. So I didn’t get to the front in the arena. At first I tried to get close to the catwalk part of the stage, but I realized I couldn’t see anything at all from there… I stood farther back instead – less crowded and a better view!
But the main event of the evening was the Q&A session with Kristen and Taylor. They wrote a lot of autographs and took photos with the fans who stood by the red carpet.
Me and my boyfriend took a walk upon Halleberg today.
Tonight I actually stayed up and watched the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. The show was nice, but then, I haven’t watched so many movie awards to compare with… Anyway, both “New Moon” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” were nominated in many categories, and the showed pieces from the coming movie “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1″!
As usual, my whole family watched the Eurovision Song Contest together this year. I thought there were relatively many good songs participating this year, compared to what it’s usually like. The song from Belarus was only okay – even though they had Robert Wells. My favorites were Denmark, Turkey, Germany, Romania and Ukraine.
Here are my best photos and videos from the show and signing session at Mitt i City in Karlstad yesterday.
