There was a Närcon this year as well, even though it was much smaller than last year. And unfortunately not so well-organized. But the arrangers should still get some credit, as they started planning very late this year (there wasn’t meant to be a Närcon this year at all). Four days at Närcon, great! And this year it was beautidul, with giant banderoles, fences all around the area, and loads of movies to watch, games to play, and a lot of other things to do. The cosplay was a highlight as always. So many beautiful costumes! And I met many old friends.
I’ve finally got home from NärCon. I’m totally exhausted. The cleaning squad went from 100 to 25 persons, having to clean multiple buildings between 4-10 pm. We just managed it…
Närcon had a new visitor record – 900 visitors. The convention was as fun as usual. But sadly many things in the organization didn’t work out as well as they should have. No schedules anywhere and not enough information about anything.
