I heard this song on the radio on my way home today. It’s a beautiful song, and I listened to it a lot a few months ago…
Rainy
It was really rainy today! I sun-bathed in the morning but after I had lunch I couldn’t see further than the ditch on the other side of the road because of all the rain.
Hanson Album
Now I’ve listened to the Hanson Fanclub membership album. I’d already heard three or four out of the five songs on the album, but I’m still happy that they chose to make these songs public releases because I really like them. I love “Take My Time”!
R.I.P. Michael Jackson
Yesterday evening I read that Michael Jackson was rushed to the trauma center, but not until noon today I found out that he passed away. It still feels unreal, like he’s not really dead – but he is. He was an extremely talented and great musician and dancer. It feels sad to watch the old videos, but here are some of my favourites.
This…
…was what it looked like across the lake at 3 am. It feels almost as special to watch the sun rise as it is to watch it set.
Today’s Outing
Today I went to Söderköping with my boyfriend. We had ice-cream and took a walk around the town. The small streets and houses are really cute!
He’s Just Not That Into You
We watched that movie this afternoon and it was good. A “Mirjam movie”, as my boyfriend calls it.
Medieval Fair
I visited the medieval fair in Wadköping, Örebro today before I got on the train to visit my boyfriend. I like medieval fairs – all the tables with clothing, jewelry, weapons, purses, sweets etc; the scent of grilled meat; the music played by the walking musicians…
Fairytale
Of course we stayed up to watch the Eurovision Song Contest this year too. It’s one of the must-do’s of the year! The line-up was okay. As expected, the Swedish entry didn’t do well at all. But what is there to say about the Norwegian entry? Pure musical joy, energy, charisma! That’s definately my favourite!
Ronja Is Climbing
One of our cats was clearly wanting some adventure, investigation how high she could climb the plum tree…
