On June 5th, the MTV Movie Awards 2011 will be awarded. Today they revealed the nominees and the voting has opened! Here are some of the categories with their nominees:
On My Reading Shelf: May 2011
Last month I managed to read both books that I had chosen, and that feels good. This month I challenge myself a little more and add one book: in May I will read three books! They will be “Part 1 of Shadowmarch” and “Part 1 of The War of the Flowers” by Tad Williams, and “Diamond Sword, Wooden Sword II” by Nick Perumov.
Royal Wedding
Today, the British prince William married his Kate Middleton. Of course I sat in front of the television set, just like millions of people all over the world. The wedding was pretty much as I expected. Huge, long, somewhat boring, but beautiful. And what an amazing wedding dress!
Lord of the Rings Fans – Look This Way!
It’s been a very long and shaky journey, but now it’s finally rolling along fine! “The Hobbit” movie shooting started on the 21st of March, and now there’s a video from the set on Peter Jackson’s Facebook page. I have to admit that I was a little teary-eyed at the end of the video… Watch it here:
Music Tip: Taylor Swift
I’ve liked Taylor Swift’s music ever since I heard “Love Story” for the first time. This is on of my favourite songs from her latest album “Speak Now”.
On My Reading Shelf: April 2011
I really miss the time when I could read five books a week – sometimes more. So I have decided to start reading more again. For starters I’ll finish the books I’ve started… On the reading shelf for April I have “Part 2 of The Redemption of Althalus” by David & Leigh Eddings, and “Diamond Sword, Wooden Sword I” by Nick Perumov.
Eric Saade in Eskilstuna – Videos
I realized I haven’t posted my videos from Eric Saade’s signing session in Eskilstuna yet, so here they are! “Still Loving It”, “It’s Gonna Rain” and “Popular”.
Eric Saade in Eskilstuna
Today I went to Eskilstuna to see Eric Saade. It took me almost half an hour to find a spot where I could park my car – there were so many people! It was so crowded inside the mall, it was so bad! And the children and youths weren’t the worst in there, rather their parents who were going to find the best spot for their own children, at any cost… Good rolemodels?? But the short performance was really good, Eric is always good on stage! And at the signing afterwards I took the chance to wish him good luck in the Eurovision Song Contest!
The Winner of Let’s Dance
“Let’s Dance” is over, and the winner of the season is Jessica Andersson. She was well worth it. I think she has improved so much during these months.
Eric Saade’s Mini Tour
Eric Saade will be going on a mini tour in parts of Sweden to meet his fans and sign his new cd single “Popular”. He will also sing three songs. Here are all the dates:
