Yesterday I heard on the radio that Ulf “Uffe” Larsson died the day before, he was only 53 years old. My eyes filled with tears, driving on my way home. Uffe was an active man who did a lot of things, and I don’t know about half of his projects. But to me he’ll always be Söndagsöppet, a famous TV show. I grew up with that show, and with Uffe. Of course it’s sad when he’s suddenly gone.
In a very short time three huge persons have gone – Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and Uffe Larsson. It’s sad. And I start feeling old too. When you recognize a lot of people who are passing away, you’re getting older – at least you’re not so young anymore. But of course, I did know about Eva Remaeus (I was 5), Allan Edwall (I was 9) and Astrid Lindgren (I was 14) – and I was still only a child back then. So perhaps you’re not getting old just because you recognize people who pass away…
Here are a few videos with Uffe.
