Finally! Finally, finally, finally! On February 5 at 8 pm, the channel TV6 will start airing Legend of the Seeker – and they will start by airing two episodes after one another! Two hours of Richard, Kahlan, Zedd and all the others. I first heard about the TV series a couple of months ago, when I had almost finished reading the Sword of Truth series which the TV series is based on. Of course I’m very curious about what it will be like on TV, it’s been getting both positive and negative reviews from fans of Terry Goodkind. There are many changes which I’m already doubtful of, but I’ll see what I think when I’ve seen it…
I just browsed through the cast and couldn’t find any names I recognized – except one. Craig Parker. That name is very familiar to me, but I still had to look it up on IMDB. But I was right – my dear “Haldir” (Lord of the Rings) will be playing the part of Darken Rahl (the bad guy in the beginning of the series)!! This only gets better and better. They have changed Darken a lot, but if Craig Parker will be him, it can’t be anything but good.
Haha, and the one playing Zedd has apparently been in a lot of movies that I in fact know about: Mouth of Sauron in Lord of the Rings, Tion Medon in Star Wars III, Dr Barker in Australia – and he will be Lord Rhoop in the next Narnia movie. This will be interesting!
