Now it’s over already. No, not quite. The aftershow party is still going on at Frimis, but me and my sister went home instead. I don’t even know if I would have had enough energy to go to the party. And it’s so terribly hot!
Me and my sister went to the festival area already at 3 pm, so that I could find the smaller stage without rushing, and be there in time – Ola was signing albums. So now I have an album with his signature, and some photos. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take photos together with him… But I guess that would take too much time, he only signed for 45 minutes and the line was pretty long.
Then both me and my sister participated in a contest helt by Tele2, to win backstage passes. We didn’t win. Not a big surprise. We had dinner at a small place close to the festival area, possibly more expensive than other places I’ve been, but it was very good!
A friend of ours met us and we went to visit the merry-go-rounds. Then we sat down in the shadowy part of a park and waited until it was time to find a good spot in front of the stage. I went to the first section, my sister and our friend went to the second section. I think the crowd wasn’t as pushy back there. The first section wasn’t that pushy either – in the beginning. But it got worse. And of course I made the most of it – I got from the 20th row to the 7th or something like that, before the show was over.
The artists were okay. I liked Patrik Isaksson the least. The others were okay. Marie Picasso, Star Polits, Velvet, Brolle. But the highlight was of course Ola. No, I’m not a fan of Ola, but I think he is really good. And he gets an extra point for his wonderful Scanian accent! And he’s pretty cute too.
I have lots of photos and some videor. I will put some of them up here later.
I met an old friend from school when we waited for the concert to start. We were in the same class during our 10th year, and after that we haven’t really met. But during that year we spent quite a lot of time together. So it was fun meeting her again.
