It’s amazing how something that felt so tough and so difficult can run so smoothly! I sat down with the outline for my NaNo novel this afternoon, and it’s gone from being 25% gaping holes to being almost completely planned out! It feels really great, because I feel that I will need a detailed outline this year. I have to write my final exam paper at the same time as NaNo, and I won’t have time to sit and think about what the story will be or what will happen in the next chapter as I sit down to write… But despite the obvious lack of time and risk of working too hard I really look forward to November and think that it’ll be great fun!
