Yes, I’m really excited about this challenge! 50,000 words in 30 days. The longest piece of fiction I ever wrote before was a couple of handwritten pages where most of it were almost identical to my favorite books in a wonderful mixture… And a few embarrassing fanfiction stories every now and then, haha.
But now the goal is a (short) novel, 50,000 words, as I said. I will make it! I’ve created a pretty finished outline, so at least I have a “skeleton” to build upon. Hopefully that means I won’t have to get stuck in my story and not know how to continue. I haven’t really created any characters yet, but I don’t feel like doing that now. They will have to show themselves as I’m writing. That’s not the most important part, to have characters that are one hundred per cent finished and three-dimensional. My goal is just to put those words down on paper! Well, on the computer.
